We moved to Boise, Idaho in 2013 from Shimelba refugee camp located in Northern Ethiopia. During our time at the refugee camp, we operated a small restaurant, so naturally we welcomed the opportunity to open a restaurant here in Boise, Idaho. Our first restaurant in Boise was located in what used to be known as "The International Market" on Franklin & Curtis, which unfortunately burned down. In February of 2016 we were lucky enough to open our current location on State & 35th street. We love being able to provide a place where people can experience the flavors of Ethiopian & Eritrean cuisine and the opportunity to share our culture with those here in Boise.
